TRANSSHIPMENT PORT– THE NEW DEVELOPMENT MOTIVATION OF VINALINES HAU GIANG

On the 6^th March, 2018, with the approval of the Viet Nam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines), Hau Giang Maritime Service Limited Liability Company (Vinalines Hau Giang) had a business trip to Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (Kingdom of Cambodia), Mr. Le Anh Son - The Chairman of Vinalines, is the chief of the delegation.

The signing ceremony of the tripartite with the cooperation of Vinalines Hau Giang,  Phnom Penh Autonomus, Shipmarin Transportation Co,. Ltd.

In the presence of Mr. Le Anh Son, Vinalines Hau Giang has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Vinalines Hau Giang General Port, Phnom Penh Autonomus Port and Shipmarin Transportation Co,. Ltd for the cooperation in the transshipment of goods (Phnom Penh - Hau Giang - Cai Mep shipping route and vice versa). Vinalines Hau Giang is the port of transshipment, the hub for trading between the two countries and in the region.

Accordingly, Vinalines Hau Giang General Port is located in Song Hau Industrial Zone and the centers of the Mekong Delta. With this favorable location, the port can be connected to the centers of commodity production and the potential  zones of economy through convenient waterway and road transportation.

With the desire to become the leading of international and domestic trade gateway of the Mekong Delta, Vinalines Hau Giang General Port has made continuous efforts to innovate and develop a modern and professional manner in providing seaport services and other activities relevant to the logistics chain for differrent business partners.

The successful cooperation between Vinalines Hau Giang General Port and Phnom Penh Autonomous Port as well as Shipmarin Transportation Co,. Ltd will create a plenty of fresh opportunities for the shipping industry in the region and Vinalines Hau Giang.
